The Sun Alignment
Twice a year, around February 22 and October 22, sunrise light reaches the inner sanctuary statues. Expect company on those mornings — magical, but crowded.
Getting There
Most visitors fly or convoy from Aswan before dawn; pairing it with Philae Temple the same day makes a complete Nubian-day itinerary.
